Our company traces its origins back to 1993, following the merger of two major supermarket chains. Through this merger, MAXICONSUMO entered the competitive Argentine market.

We consider our firm to be a large family, as we are comprised of over 1800 employees, more than 800 supplier firms, and thousands of individuals involved in commercial and industrial activities.

Over a decade and a half, MAXICONSUMO, which is solely owned by Argentine capital, has established itself as a well-known brand and an excellent option for retail trade in the country's most significant regions. It has solidified its position as an absolute sales leader in its category.

Currently, our company operates 32 branches throughout the City of Buenos Aires, the Greater Buenos Aires area, and the country's interior.
